Description
UPEGA has no straight edges, no predictable outline — its silhouette takes shape as a collection of pebbles nestled against one another, each with its own curves and its own proportions. Laid upon the floor, it bears no resemblance to anything familiar: it is immediately the piece that draws the eye.
What makes this rug all the more remarkable is that its irregular outline is entirely hand-tufted in pure 100% wool. Each rounded form has been crafted individually, with the precision and care that only artisanal work can achieve. The relief between the shapes is clearly visible to the eye, and felt underfoot: soft, generous, and enveloping.
With a pile weight of 2200g/m², it is dense and comfortable for everyday use, whether in a living room or at the foot of a bed. Its natural, solid tone allows it to complement any interior, without ever going unnoticed.
To preserve its appearance, clean with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, without rubbing, and leave to dry naturally.
