It is also recommended to check if screws are properly tightened up once every 3 months. Please keep in mind that velvet fabric can look a bit different when exposed to different lighting - it tends to shimmer more in the daylight, and look more toned down in indoor artificial lighting. Due to the smooth high-density structure, the shade of the velvet fabric may also vary when stroked by hand in different directions and angles. To even out the colour and get rid of dents and creases, the material should be stroked with an open palm in one direction, wiped with a damp cloth or an iron with steam. Please note that wood is a natural product, therefore each piece may slightly vary. Differences in colour or texture, such as wrinkles or other natural features are not considered a defect and should not be a reason for complaint.

Maintenance tips:

Velvet:
1.Clean with dry upholstery shampoo and a wet sponge or a mild cleaner
2.Vacuum with a suitable attachment.

Beechwood:
1.Clean with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth in the direction of the grain
2.Wipe dry immediately after cleaning to prevent water from accumulating on the product
3.Only for items with oiled finish: may be re-oiled after some time for keeping them in good condition.
