Additional Information: Because of the product's fabric, it may sporadically shed. However, it is a standard process and is not considered a defect of the product. The product requires some time after unpacking to get to its desired state. We recommend unfolding it as soon as possible, giving it up to 72 hours to straighten, as well as putting a heavy weight on the ends for a better effect. To preserve the quality and longevity of the material, we advise against laying the rug in high-traffic areas of your home. Creasing is a natural process for genuine leather. Over time and with continuous use leather may stretch out and not return to its original shape. Any differences in colour or texture such as blemishes, creases or other marks are natural occurrences and not a reason for complaint.
Maintenance tips: 1.To remove loose dirt and dust, shake the rug out, preferably outside. Place the rug on a cotton cloth and beat it with your hand. Do not use a rug beater as it may damage delicate leather 2.Brush the pile regularly with a carpet & upholstery brush. If possible avoid vacuuming, it may cause threads to loosen 3.Remove any stains immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth. Clean from the edge to the middle of the rug, do not rub 4.Use only leather recommended cleaners or contact an expert for tough stains removal 5.If the rug gets wet, allow it to dry up, away from any heat sources 6.Periodically, turn your rug 180 ̊ to ensure even wear and prevent fading caused by sun exposure 7.To prolong the life of the rug, do not place it in high traffic areas 8.For comfortable use we recommend airing out the unpacked rug for at least a few hours (the best would be one or two days). This allows the natural scent of the material to fade.
