Springs are one of the three core technologies found in mattresses, alongside foam and latex. There are two types of spring mattresses: pocket spring mattresses and biconical spring mattresses, also called Bonnell spring mattresses.

Spring mattresses are naturally ventilated and provide optimal airflow (helping against allergies). The quality of the suspension depends on the number of springs (for both biconical and pocket springs: the higher the spring count, the more precise the support) and the diameter of the wire used. Pocket spring mattresses represent the cutting-edge technology in spring systems: each spring is enclosed in a sealed pocket, allowing the springs to move independently, offering precise point-by-point support and excellent sleep independence. Bonnell spring mattresses feature springs in the shape of coils connected to each other by steel wires. Naturally ventilated, spring mattresses provide excellent hygiene. Highly resilient, they are greatly appreciated by those who move a lot during the night, however, you may feel your partner's movements.
